One hundred and forty-two people perished when tornadoes devoured their hometown of Joplin Missouri. This breaks our hearts to see natural disasters devastate American soil. The New York Times referred to the tornado as “deadly”.
Homes were left in splinters. We have to do our very best to help out the victims of this horrible tragedy. The images are heartbreaking and brutal. To make a small donation for relief efforts can transpire VIA http://redcross.org and one can also check updates on this deadly tornado’s aftermath.
You are in our hearts. Stay strong. The worse is over and we are praying. Everyone please spread the word. ☮

It is hard to believe we are almost in our mid-twenties. It feels as if it were yesterday since we were a teenager. What times those were. Yes, it shames us to say that some of those were a blur, but we did have some things we adored.
The Simple Life of course goes to the top of that list, but Chantal O’Brien loves the memory of discovering Ciara and her song “Goodies” on a bootleg mix CD. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were the “perfect couple”. We remember also listening to the Z Moring Zoo on Z100 and secretly watching Laguna Beach. Who remembers their first pair of Ugg boots? Lindsay Lohan was fresh off the set of Mean Girls when we were teenagers.
Things have since changed and many new stars are added to Pop Culture’s constellation since our “glory days”. The cast of Glee on the FOX Network are taking the world by storm. This show features singing and episodes that covers many serious topics, such as discrimination against a gay male student. Many celebrities starred on this show and the waiting list is insane.
It is all about Justin Bieber, not Justin Timberlake. His relationship to Selena Gomez is a “teenage dream”. We also remember wearing Antik Denim and Frankie B. Jeans. “In your face” monograms was all the rage in designers when we were teenagers, but it seems now many top desingers are choosing simple and chic.
We didn’t even get to Team Edward or Team Jacob. As we unfortunately lived our life in the fast lane, we watched Pop Culture’s revolving door. Time is a scary thing at times, but as time goes on things evolve and people change.
Older people rejoice as they go back into time, as the youth adores their favorite celebrities, and crazy moments the media may report. Time will catch up with these young adoring fans too…
